A beautiful and highly lyrical jazz CD from the Freiburg-based tenor saxophonist Jürgen Hagenlocher who, with his accompanying trio, achieves top form for over an hour‘s playing time. Thomas Bauser adds a further attractive timbre with the warm sound of his Hammond B3. The compositions are almost all about 7 minutes long, so that sufficient space remains for improvisation elements. I recommend the opening track “Continuous Loop” as an appetizer.
